C = Chapter     There are 114 chapters in the Quran.      

                                             

P = Part             The Quran has been divided into thirty equal

                              parts.

 

R = Ruku          Each chapter is divided into rukus of different lengths. A ruku generally deals with a particular topic.  Number of  rukus differ  from chapter to chapter, ranging from 40 in chapter No. 2 to 1 many smaller chapters at the end.
